Race Driver Coaching Built Around You

The Complete Race Driver provides professional race driver coaching for competitors throughout Queensland and across Australia. Coaching is available at test days, race weekends and selected track days, with every program tailored to the individual driver, car and category.

Our approach combines on-track driver coaching with data analysis, video analysis, driving technique, racecraft and vehicle setup feedback. Rather than looking at driving in isolation, we work to understand both the driver and the race car to find where performance can be improved.

Whether you're developing your fundamentals, looking for the final few tenths, adapting to a new car or preparing for a race weekend, our coaching is designed around measurable improvement.

A Driver + Engineer Approach to Coaching

We don't just tell you where you're losing time. We help you understand why — and what to do about it.

The Complete Race Driver takes a different approach to traditional race driver coaching by combining the perspective of a professional racing driver with that of an experienced race engineer. Driving technique is only one part of performance. Understanding what the car is doing, interpreting data, communicating vehicle behaviour and making the right setup changes can all have a significant influence on lap time. With Todd Hazelwood bringing current professional race driving experience and Wes McDougall bringing more than 30 years of race engineering, data analysis and driver development experience, our coaching looks at the complete performance picture — driver, car and engineer working together. This allows us to identify not only where lap time is being lost, but why it is being lost and what needs to change to find it.
